Refund & Credit Policy
Infinitely Blissful Events

Infinitely Blissful Events reserves planning time and begins work immediately upon booking. Because our services involve committed time, scheduling, and preparation, we do not offer cash refunds. Instead, eligible situations may receive a service credit as outlined below.
By submitting payment through QuickBooks Payments (card or ACH), you agree to this policy and to the terms in your signed service agreement.
1) Retainers / Booking Deposits
All retainers/booking deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless we specifically approve a transfer in writing.
Your retainer secures your date and covers initial planning time and administrative work.
2) Payments Made Toward Services
All payments are non-refundable once received.
However, in certain circumstances, we may offer a credit toward future services (see Section 4).
3) Client Cancellations
If you cancel services for any reason:

No refunds will be issued.

Any credit (if offered) is at our discretion and depends on the timing of cancellation and work already completed.

If your contract includes a remaining balance obligation, you are still responsible for any amounts due under your agreement and payment schedule.
4) Credit Eligibility and Rules
If a credit is approved, the following rules apply:

Credits may be applied to future Infinitely Blissful Events services only (not to third-party vendors).

Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a refund.

Credits are non-transferable (cannot be sold or given to another person).

Credits expire 12 months from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.

Credits may only be used if we have availability for the requested date and service type.
Credit amounts (if approved) will be determined based on:

The amount of work already completed

The time remaining before your event date
-
The scope of your planning package and scheduled deliverables
5) Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate one reschedule if:

Notice is provided as early as possible, and
-
We are available for the new date.
If we are not available for the new date, it will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be issued. A credit may be considered under Section 4.
Rescheduling may require a new contract and may include a rescheduling fee depending on timeline, scope, and proximity to the event date.
6) Vendor Payments and Third-Party Costs
Infinitely Blissful Events is not responsible for vendor refund decisions or vendor cancellation policies. Vendor deposits and payments are governed by each vendor’s contract.
If you pay vendor funds through Infinitely Blissful Events (only if applicable), those amounts are typically non-refundable once committed or paid, unless the vendor issues a refund.
7) No Credits for Completed or Partially Completed Services
Credits will not be issued for:

Services already performed

Work completed prior to cancellation (including research, outreach, timelines, coordination, meetings/calls, proposals, and planning tasks)

Last-minute cancellations close to the event date where significant planning time has been invested
8) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Because planning services include reserved time and documented work, chargebacks are not an acceptable method of cancellation. If a chargeback is filed in violation of this policy, we may dispute it with documentation such as the signed contract, invoices, communication records, and proof of services rendered.
9) Exceptions
We understand emergencies happen. Any exception to this policy must be approved by Infinitely Blissful Events in writing and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
